How do I sew velcro on the back of a Persian rug?
It is like a Persian carpet (lot cheaper – coverage for our rustic Lodge-style house that is perfect as Wallhanging, but we want to hang like a carpet carpet with Velcro cons board with Velcro fasteners (like they do in museums). The problem is that the fabric is so impenetrable that I am almost breaking needles, son frayed, creating calluses, die a slow death 
Which leads me beside forever. There must be a better way to do it by hand. Or, I make the wrong team? I use needles furnishings curve, thimbles, thread tapestry (often frayed wire or leaves your node!), Pliers (for intense push the needle through the shield as a medium of carpets. Please help! just need to sew a strip of two inches, which is about 6 feet long, but I spent half a day to sew about 3 inches!
Instead of sewing on the velcro, use a stapler, with the flat side of the clip in the back of the carpet. The dog ears are hidden in the NAP of the canvas in front. If you sew, use tapestry needle too thick, or one cross stitch. The needle is very heavy and has a wider eye. Use a small piece of rubber, plastic to hold the needle, passing through the Velcro and carpets. Floss Twist quilting or buttonhole, doubled and run through a piece of candle wax or beeswax.
