Film Purging

HEAVYWEIGHT ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES will purge your file film at no charge.

We provide experienced personnel, containers and transportation. File film is purged according to facility specifications (i.e. leaving pediatric and mammography films).

When the film is processed, the reports and jackets are shredded and recycled. This protects patient confidentiality. The plastic from the film is also recycled using environmentally safe procedures approved by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission.
